The best way to check out 53 is:
13 – D20 = 53
Only one good option here. Single 13 leaves D20.
The only other option I can think of is 17 – D18. If you really like D18 you can go that way, but I don't like it because you can leave yourself 2 if you accidentally hit the T17 first dart.
